Signal Traffic Management Limited are looking for a full-time in-house experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Working closely with our external accountants, confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are vital qualities for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

· Balance and maintain accurate ledgers;

· Match purchase orders with invoices;

· Co-ordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management;

· Monitor office expenses;

· Handling supplier invoices by recording;

· Matching internal and external invoices to purchase orders; processing using internal software packages

· Appropriately coding payables to prepare them for the accountant’s input later;

· Assisting with payroll, reconciliations and BACS payments

· Managing petty cash;

Experience/Qualifications & Personal Attributes

· 3 years’ experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger;

· Experience and proficiency using Xero accounting software and Microsoft packages such as Outlook and Excel;

· Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation;

· Self motivated and proactive self-starter, able to work on own initiative and under pressure;

· Able to thrive in a fast moving environment and multi task

· Capable of communicating well with all levels of employees and clients/suppliers;

· Flexible approach to work and able to embrace and react positively to change
